Boosting Biodiversity on the Banks of Burnett Creek is part of the 2026 Statewide Weed Wrangle. We will meet in the parking lot at Tippecanoe Battlefield Park on October 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and then take a short walk down some stairs and across a foot bridge over Burnett Creek. We will then be boosting biodiversity on the banks of Burnett Creek by cutting and treating invasive shrubs like honeysuckle and burning bush. People of all skill levels are welcome. Everyone will be taught how to identify the invasive plants and be taught how to correctly control them. All equipment will be provided. Large groups are welcome!
